About Us
Montage was founded in the mid-2000s by Mike Dooley and was named after his popular and intricate photo montages.
After taking over a long established framing business, we knew that we wanted to incorporate a photography studio and an art gallery - it was our ambition to bring together art, creative photography and people. Our mission is to bring this passion and art to you to share and enjoy.
Over the years montage has earned a reputation for top quality framing, in particular our box frames - anything from a thimble to a wedding dress. We've framed sports shirts, medals and memorabilia, swords, guitars and even bagpipes. In fact, you bring it in and we will frame it!
We use the highly regarded Antons' mouldings coupled with exquisite Bellini Italian hand finished mouldings, allowing us to offer that extra special finish for your precious memories. This of course also applies to our photography customers, where we offer that very special frame to showcase those important moments in your life. We also offer very popular printing to canvas services.
An aficionado of Canon equipment, Mike has been a keen photographer for 30 years and has over 15 years' professional experience. With his deep understanding of photography and his creative flair, Mike has an extensive portfolio of commercial, wedding and lifestyle photography, with a particular love of working with people to capture those special moments.
